    .22LR SAIGA!!

I am excited to report that Izhmash Arms, the official manufacturer of the AK and Saiga rifles, has launched a new series of .22 Long Rifle chambered AK-styled rifles. The new Saiga 22 comes in two flavors. The standard model is patterned after the AK-105.It features an AK-105 style side folding stock and polymer furniture.

10/30 factory mags, comes in side folding (black polymer) or fixed stock (wood). Izhmash produced, real Russian .22 AK.

Maaaan, that just craps all over the GSG AK. I must have one.

It looks better than the GSG-AK. I wonder how much these will go for.

I'll have to put this on my must have list if the price is right.

Side folding closed is 28.5 inches, looks like it's good to go for CA.

If all the recent tacticool .22LR prices are any indicator, this should come in at around $500-$600. Let's hope this is true.

I thought it had to be 30" OAL when folded?

Oh crap-that's sexy! I hope it will be sold here. Glad I didn't pick up a GSG AK.

                    I would like a under-folder version.

Funny how the GSG version is Kalashnikov licensed, and the Izhmash/Saiga version has Kalashnikov involved in some extent.

What's not to get? Ammo is .20 to .40 a round for a lot of the real rifles so shooting .22LR which is .05 to .10 a round is a lot cheaper to play with and or practice with.

It is always fun to go out and blast on the cheap

For Centerfire in CA. Rimfire only has to contend with NFA laws of 27" when folded.
