With the "low," I should be able to get a better cheekweld on the hogback stock?
I will declare at this point that other than casually shooting 10 shots through a repro 98K scope, I have no real world experience with mounting a scope--or using one for that matter.
All I know is that this rifle comes with the 11mm dove tail, so I don't really need to do the so-called drill & tap. I was recommended the Nikon Prostaff.
Is that a decent, affordable scope that isn't total crap? If I did buy this, it would be my very first optic for a rifle, so that I can teach myself how to handle and use a riflescope properly...
