        Wow, that is very cool.
I like my 7.5x55, but don't think I can drop that many dimes on a .22 version!

These were made by Hammerli and are really beautiful rifles. A few years ago Simpson LTD had several he was selling for $1100.00, they sold quickly.

Expensive rifle to use cheapest ammo?

Many .22lr milsurp trainers based on the main rifle of the country issuing it tend to be expensive. I suppose just like the sniper variations they were made in smaller numbers so fewer to go around for us collectors.

its waaaay nice . and if and when someone NEEDS it for their collection , it will sell .

                        agree with you Khram .

When was the last time you saw a .22lr FAL (Argentine trainer ) ? the last ones I saw was 3+ , probably more , years ago & they were 1500.00 after they cut the flash hider off . The mags for said gun are not cheap either .

But everyone needs that " one gun " to fill out the collection .

                          What do you mean expensive?!?!?

It would only take 10,000 rounds of shooting .22LR to save $5000 in ammo costs. After that, everything is gravy.

I wish there was a cheap copy of this. Seems like such a cool .22. Accurate too.
