You can also do some research on the internet to find that it has been widely reported. I'll help get you started: http://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1...ead+separation

In the future I suggest you attempt at least a simple google search before you go spouting off like a complete bozo.
Uh.....OK. I dont think anyone called you a liar. If I were going to call you a liar I would have said "you're a f*%cking liar". I simply stated that the early issues of case seperations have mostly been worked out. I dont need to do a google search because I have been working with this round for quite some time and I am very familiar with it. Most of the early failures were corrected with more weight in the charging handle mechanism and or heavier springs. Also, correct headspacing is essential when setting up your conversion. I am assuming that you set up your conversion your self and you prep'd your chamber correctly and headspaced the gun properly?

I also see you were using Hornady and CCI, both of which have been producing problematic ammo at times. Here is one of many threads for you to read.

Also, I see you are using a Magnum Research conversion kit. These have had mixed reviews. The barrels are fine, but everything behind it seem to be problematic. Do a search on rimfire central and you will find varying opinions about the MR setup.

Finally, I see you are selling a Magnum Research conversion kit here on Calguns. I am assuming this is the same kit. If this is the same kit you are having catastrophic failures with then you should do your fellow calgunners a favor and disclose it.

Have a great day and welcome to Calguns.

Another thing to think of, If i read correctly there is an exemption for active duty military to get the "registered assault weapon permit" since you are ordered here. Post over in the centerfire forum for clarification but you may not need to change your AR at all.

        .
Thanks for proving my point. Rather than admitting your error and apologizing, you contemptuously attempted to display your superiority over someone who has less posts and less time in apparent membership on an internet forum than you. Ewww, that is always impressive.

Only a moron has to have a simple concept such as implicating explained to them, so I won't bother with you. For the record and the edification of others I will point out that - in direct contradiction of what I claimed - you said, "...this is NOT true." That implied that I lied. I have years of experience with Mach II. And I have decades of experience with rimfire, centerfire, and most other fires of multitudinous and voluminous sorts and types. For you to assume that you are superior because of post count/length of membership on an internet forum is the height of arrogant ignorance. How do you make it through the day? I, and others have observed the blindness that is the result of such conditions. It is truly a miracle that those who suffer from it manage to survive at all. I pity you.

Here is a definition so that others may benefit from your display:

        Arrogance: –noun
offensive display of superiority or self-importance; overbearing pride.

Back to the subject at hand. To the OP I say, please do become fully informed before committing to a Mach II upper. Not every one has had case heads explode. Perhaps you will be one of the lucky ones. Just know that it IS true that it has happened in the past - to a lot of people. That Ruger specifically advises AGAINST modifying their 10/22s because of the dangers involved [I know you are considering an AR - not a 10/22 - this is merely an example]. And that if anyone tells you there is no danger in shooting Mach II from a semi-auto, do not believe them.

P.S. For CACitup to insinuate that I would be dishonest in a gun parts transaction that is none of his business truly shows what kind of person he really is.

CACitup, welcome to adulthood. Why don't you learn to act like one?
