ATF letter on GSG5?

Glad I don't have one. If I did with regards to their letters, I would probablly do the same thing I do with Jury Duty papers, shred them and pretend I never got them in the mail.

Those guns were sold and sold legally with those things on them and it should fall under the same deal as high cap pre ban mags. If they don't like it don't sell or make them anymore and forbid people from being able to sell, trade, import or buy them but I fail to see the need for a recall.

I know some SOT's out of state who were simply cutting the barrel off short, leaving the can on and it was working quite nicely....

too easy to convert = silencer.

^^ Yeah I had heard the reason for the recall is that they are hollow and can be filled in with material to effectively make it into a silencer. Still strange though.
