    Is it true about GSG 5??????

    I was told by a local gun store that GSG 5 will no longer be able to make or import their MP 5 .22 clone because HK sued them. Is that true or just FUD?

          Holy Crap!!!!! I just bought one too!!!! I guess all I can hope is that they continue to make mags and parts available for them. Who knows, maybe their value will go up because of this.

                                              Not a total loss, HK and Umarex are releasing a new MP5 clone in 22lr, except this one will have HKs name on it. They are also releasing a .22lr version of the 416 and according to internet chatter/press releases possibly a MP7.

                                                      I suspect GSG will come out with a slightly different version of the same gun shortly. Gun manufacturers have a lot of practice at changing model numbers and cranking out "new" guns.

                                                          So will GSG be making mags, replacement parts, etc for when stuff breaks? I just put one on layaway and I'm still thinking about changing to something else.
