I like mine very much. It is picky with the ammo but mine likes Remington Golden Bullets which are fairly inexpensive and are becoming easier to find these days.

I like that it looks, feels and shoots very similar to a big boy gun. When my girlfriend started shooting, it was much less intimidating than a full size gun.

the mosquito is fine.....I have had mine for quite some time and the thing functions perfectly. It doesnt like to be dirty. Clean your gun and break it in and you will be happy with if thats the rimfire you want.

not necessarily true. look at all the posts above. You got lucky and have one that works. I could show you 2 brand new mosquitos that will NOT work no matter what you do. Sig's tolerances for building these things are one of the worst I've seen. The design of the gun calls for a very tight tolerance in order for it to work reliably, looks like you are one of the lucky few.

Actually if you re-read the thread you will find most who actually own the gun say they like it but its picky about its ammo. I dont deny it, mine took 2000 rounds of mini mags to break it in. Now it will shoot anything I put in it. Thats direct experience, not my brothers experience, or some guy who I knew who dated my sisters orthodontist. The Sig is a fine gun but you have to break it in and keep it clean. But if the OP doesnt want to go through the hassle of breaking one in and cleaning his gun he can buy a Ruger, another fine pistol. Either way, if its the gun the OP really wants, he will be happy with it if he treats it properly.

I like mine a lot 500+ rounds so far. NO issues with CCI mini mag, federal bulk pack and winchester white box, 1-2 / 50 FTE with that cyclone junk. The copper plated stuff seems to be better but thats just and observation. They say it's better after a 2000+ rounds.

to the haters, they now come with 2 sprins. high velocity and Std. velocity. I've just run the Std spring so far and it's been great. I wouldn't CCW it but it's a great great fun cheap shooter/trainer.
