considering 17hmr rifle

[Khram]

I passed on the Mossberg at Big 5 even at $159. It is just a repackaged Magtech from Brazil.

just picked up a savage 17hmr 93R17... turners had them on sale last week (black on black syn. stock) with bull barrel for $239! has the adjustable accutrigger too!

Putting a BSA sweet 17 scope on it... cant wait too shoot it!

ok, Noob here. I bought a new shotgun 8 days ago, my dealer is making me wait another 10 days if I want pick up another rifle today...

I know that this info will be a little late in your case but it may help out some others....
If the second rifle was from the same place as the shotgun: all the dealer had to do was add the second onto your first DROS, given that you had not picked up the shoot gun yet...and it is still inside the 10 days.
If he told you he had to do another DROS, then he is selling you a line of crap.

I had a Ruger .17 about a decade ago. They don't sell those anymore?
