10/22 Crank Fire Legality

i am pretty sure that because the crank turns your 10/22 into an automatic plinker, but if i am wrong ( i really hope i am), i am going to order one. 4 shots to a rotation...

Nah, the fed's are ok with those. Because it's a crank, they don't consider that manufacturing of a machinegun. Same with the bump-fire adapters.

You could always modify it outside of California so it only fires 1 time per crank revolution then bring it here. PC12020 specifically says:

I wonder how challengable this is because the term "increases the rate of fire of that firearm" is subjective. A manually activated crankfire 10/22 or 1919A4 will never approach the rate of fire if Jerry Miculik is behind the trigger with just his finger.

Based on the fact that they can fire 2 rounds with a single turn of the crank, I would say yes.

All that BS about increasing the rate of fire...gimme a break. My brother and I used to load up his Remington 552 Speedmaster with 15 rounds and see how fast we could empty it. Shooting from the hip, stiff finger slapping against the trigger, is seemed like we could empty it in less than 3 seconds.
