before even considering the sig mosquito, read all the negative reveiws on it..

stick with the browning or ruger.

I own a Ruger 22/45 and really like it.

As far as shooting goes I would say that it is a toss-up between my Ruger and my CZ75 Kadet for accuracy. One thing with the Ruger (and Buckmark) is you can use the awesome but poorly named Ultimate Cliploader to fill your mags in seconds (and save your thumb). Its easy to plink an entire bulk box very quickly

I also own a Neos. I liked it when I got it but prefer to shoot the CZ and Ruger. The Neos is a lot easier to clean though.

I'd recommend Ruger or Buckmark. Both are excellent. I ended up with the Ruger because the Buckmark was hard for me to find locally and I thought it was a toss up between the 2 guns.

I have a ruger mark II with a 10 inch barrel and it shoots fantastic , if I want to do some bench shooting with a 22 I bring the contender pictured below . I have shot groups as small as .283 at 50 meters and have embarassed more than a few rifles with its performance.

just an fyi, the rugers and buckmarks are very forgiving of cleaning, ive gone months and thousands of rounds with nothing but a boresnake and wipedown on my ruger.

I use a highstandard supermatic citation, nothing like a all steel pistol!

Ruger Mark II 22/45 with a bull barrel. Great gun. Reliable and accurate.

Man that's some sweet lookin' set-ups. I have never seen the blued 4.5", it's lookin' killer though.
The stainless 6-7/8" fluted is what I would like to get really. That red dot compliments the pistol perfectly.

I also vote the Browning Buckmark, just outstanding guns.

Trailside would get my vote. This little pistol will out shoot most of the people firing it. I love mine.

                        Sorry for the crappy pic.

I have a Colt Match Target from the 50's -2 generation --it's "matchless" Not wanting to use it or use it up I bought a new used pistol. Mind boggleing.
Sig Hammerli Exxe Trailside , 6" barrel, blue/black match grips, counter weight,
rail and red dot. Blows me and everyone who shoots it AWAY. The only negative is that the sites are not changeable. It's pricey but really worth it.
New I think you can put it together with all the ups and extras for about
$ 1200.00. If you want to shoot it I am Angeles Range 1-2 times a week.

I went out and shot a colt match target of a friends the other day. It's gotta be made around the 50's. It was a dream to shoot, very fun

Ruger MKII is the only 22 auto pistol I've shot and i would give it my vote.

+1 for the ruger 22/45. easy to clean, but a pain to reassemble
