I had a similar problem when I first got mine. I just followed the step by step in the manual, and after about 6 tries, got it right.

Now, I just use a boresnake and some CLP for the action. I only field strip it when I've got an hour to kill There's still a fair amount of cussing involved, though I've done it 4 or 5 times now.

try pointing the barrel up... then down.... and even hold the gun upside down....

I just cleaned mine 2 days ago, its defeinately a trial in patience.

The hammer strut is suck between the grip frame and back strap housing. You should be able to see the strut just hanging there instead of being instead the back strap housing.

With the bolt forward and magazine in pull the trigger and try to get the hammer to go forward.

You will need to jiggle the gun or take a small rod/screwdriver to get in there through the rear of the grip and push the hammer/strut up and out of the way.

heh...not broke. if you live in san diego, i'll reassemble it for ya free.

ive got mine completely gutted right now for mods. theyre intimidating at first but in reality a very simple design. much simpler, in fact, than the trigger assembly on the 10/22s.

pm me if you live nearby...if not, good luck browsing for help. rimfirecentral is a good place for 22/45 advice.

Dude these guns are a pain the first few times you take them apart, especially if its not broken in.

Its not broken. If your up near riverside ill fix it for you.

I think the problem is the pin thats attached to the cheese. You dont have it in the right spot

Pin?...Being stuck is just that, a big if. Haven't heard any problems on the neos with that.
Bottom line, Neos' a good gun for the moola. Full length rail, ability to switch between barrel lengths (4, 6, 7 in.), easy to field strip and reassemble, and for me personally has only fte maybe 5 times out of over 1200 rds. (ymmv).

To all who haven't sampled the Neos, have a look-sie. You might like it.

.22's are so lame that people are paying $30 for 550rd bulk packs that nomally cost $15. I still dont know why I have about over 17000rds of 22lr's sitting in my ammo crate ?
