Umarex HK MP7

I already have a GSG5. why would i want Umarex crap. The Colt M4 isn't that great i prefer the S&W Mp15-22 (in an AR pattern)

What do you mean? H&K "won." ATI agreed to stop importing all GSG MP5 carbines and pistols effective a month or two ago.

H&K won.
GSG is no longer producing the GSG5, ATI is no longer importing the GSG5 and ATI can not sell any GSG5s in stock after Q1 2010.
After the case was settled, H&K licensed Umarex to make .22LR MP5, .22LR HK416 & .22LR MP7 clones.

MP7 -> if CA legal, probably not

The MP7 could be made as both a CA-legal pistol (no stock) or a CA-legal rifle (w/ barrel extension of some sort). I don't know what they're making but I assume it includes a pistol version.

how about H&K G36, USC?

GSG is certainly still producing the GSG 5. Just not importing to the US

Have been hearing bad things about Umarex, since they also build the Colt .22. Which when I shot it, I was not impressed. I will stick to my 10/22.

The MP7 would be great...in a free state.

Even if you ditched the stock in order to make it a pistol, you would also have to lose the forward VFG. What you're left with is a big clunky .22 that somewhat resembles the original firearm. No thanks.
