So I was finally able to get to the range today to shoot some of my new guns, including the SR22.
I find it to be a great little gun, even though I have large hands. Even my brother who has larger hands than me said it felt good in the hand. I found it to have little to no recoil. I wasn't really shooting for accuracy, but at about 7 yards I was easily able to keep the groups the size of a small coffee can.
What I wanted to see was how it did with different rounds. I put 40 rounds each of Federal Auto-Match, Lighting, American Eagle and a "white box" 36 CPHP. I also ran 40 rounds each of Remington Thunderbolt, CCI Mini Mags and Winchester Super X. The little SR was vert hungry as it ate everything I gave her. I did have two FTF, (light strikes?) from the AE. Though those are also some of the oldest rounds in the stash.
Overall I'm very happy with the little plinker. Next trip to the range I will spend a little more time working on accuracy with a few different rounds.
