.22 Rifle Cleaning Kit

I used the Hoppe-9 aluminum cleaning rod kit for .22LR. I used the same (aluminum .22LR) rod for 380ACP to .44. Spl/Mag.
I used a particular size plastic brush for each size of caliber, brass brush if I shoot lead.
Hoppe-9 solvent and oil. but for the last 10 years I used motor fully synthetic oil instead of Hoppe-9 gun oil.

Anyone get good results with a nylon brush? Henry recommends that over brass. For me, oiled patch, brush, patch, bore snake.
