Is there a model for CA that has a rail to allow co-witness or can have a RMR plate to get co-witness with included iron sights? Not a deal-breaker, just curious. There are a lot of models. Only thing I have to have is a 5" or 5.5" bull barrel with adjustable sights.

Can you take the barrel off with the rail attached? That is what I do for a deep clean, but mine is old so may be different.

I guess you could leave the front 2 screws in place on the barrel, but you still have to remove the rear screw since it attaches the rail to the frame. I'll have to try your technique next time and leave the front 2 screws in place.
