I made the mistake of dropping by my local gun store on Saturday after work. They had called and said they had some 38 special and 357 mag in stock, they knew I was waiting on those calibers. So, after I got done with everything at work, I drove over to pick up some ammo. Sure enough, they had saved me a box of 357 and 38, they also had some 22 at a good price, so I picked that up as well.
But, in the glass handgun counter, there it was. A brand new, shiny, Browning Buckmark URX Standard Micro. I really don't need another 22, really, I don't. But, he let me take a close look at it, and before I even put it back down on the counter I told him, yep, I'll take it, get the paperwork going. I pick it up next tuesday. I've been wanting that particular model for a long time, I had some money, and that's how that works. Pretty damn excited.
