    Browning Buckmark

I made the mistake of dropping by my local gun store on Saturday after work. They had called and said they had some 38 special and 357 mag in stock, they knew I was waiting on those calibers. So, after I got done with everything at work, I drove over to pick up some ammo. Sure enough, they had saved me a box of 357 and 38, they also had some 22 at a good price, so I picked that up as well.
But, in the glass handgun counter, there it was. A brand new, shiny, Browning Buckmark URX Standard Micro. I really don't need another 22, really, I don't. But, he let me take a close look at it, and before I even put it back down on the counter I told him, yep, I'll take it, get the paperwork going. I pick it up next tuesday. I've been wanting that particular model for a long time, I had some money, and that's how that works. Pretty damn excited.

          Congrats on your new gun.

          Grab yourself a couple mags...

I have the Contour Gray URX 5-1/2 model. Got a little Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 Red Dot on it.

Its almost not fare to have the red dot on it. It's a great gun and easy to strip down and clean.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

            Congrats!!

It seems every time I go to the LGS to pick up some ammo I end up with a new gun as well, which requires more ammo, ....,.... and the cycle continues.

              It's so bad.....

I have no reason what's so every to buy a survival gun, but it's on sale at Turners so that's all I need, its $20.00 under MSRP..

Since 1959 the venerable AR-7 has been the choice of U.S. Air Force pilots who need a small-caliber rifle they can count on should they have to punch out over a remote area. Through the years the AR-7's reputation for portability, ease of operation and reliability has carried over to the civilian world. Today it's

I've been avoiding my lgs as they have an encore with a nice stock for only $450, and I've always wanted one. Then you guys start linking guns here...

Congrats on the purchase! They look like a ton of fun.

They had some magazines in stock, so I picked up one extra one. I was a bit disappointed that the gun only came with one magazine, but that's not too uncommon, so I really can't get too mad about that.

                    I know, it's a problem. But I figure, it's "just" a 22. Can't have too many 22's. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

And the cost of the mags aren't all that great either..

There are some mag loaders out there that make loading the mags pretty easy and fast..maybe I should have said, just fast.

Your going to like your new gun. I've shot all kinds of ammo through mine and I've never had a single problem..

Yah, the mag's were a bit pricey. But I hate only having one magazine, so I pony'd up and paid the bill. Pick it up next Tuesday. Hopefully I'll have some time after work to go and break it in.

I have found these mags for around $20, its rare but worth it to have 7+ mags with you at the range. The promag magazines are not worth the money. OEM is the way to go. Congrats. Also, you made a great decision. The purchase of a good gun, is always a good decision.
