    Why not use 1" high see-thru scope rings so you can use your iron sights for close range?

        Good option! I have one on one of my AR pistols! I prefer it to Eotech I evaluated at the same time I got the holosun.

          I use a 10/22 with 2-7 Weaver 40/44 for that type shooting.

            I also use a 2-7, an older Nikon Prostaff with a 50yd parallax setting. Works great.

              I think what he means is that 20 yards is 22LR range so why spend the extra money for 22magnum?
