I finished my Ultimate 10-22 Build

So tell me more about "bedding" the action into the Hogue stock. I finished a build very similar to yours but used a TacSol bull barrel and am flummoxed by the text on the Hogue package about bedding. I dropped the action into the stock and cinched the screw. From the front, the barrel is perfectly centered in the stock with about 1/8" all the ay around.

Did you follow any of the below instructions from the back of the package or did you just drop and tighten the action?

The only modification to the stock that I made was to dremel out a small area for the rear pillar tab on the MOA 10-22 Receiver. When it cools off, I will be heading out to the desert to sight it in and do an accuracy test. Looks like I may be able to do that in a couple of weeks.

The stock was missing it or not large enough?

You built this in May and haven’t been able to see how it performs? Man, I would have had to go somewhere and ring it out. Let us know how it shoots when you get a chance.
