I finished my Ultimate 10-22 Build

I just finished building my Ultimate 10-22. This project has taken me a couple of years. I bought the parts over time and work caused this project to always be on the back burner. I have compiled a list of parts, their prices, and websites where they can be purchased.

The receiver is an MOA stainless steel receiver, which sells for
    $195.50. https://www.moaguns.com/rec10_22.html

The barrel is a Feddersen Stainless Steel 16.5", .920" barrel. I had to wait a long time to get this barrel because Feddersen produces stainless steel barrels infrequently. This barrel sells for $210.00 https://fjfeddersen.com/product-cate...rifle-barrels/

The barrel had to be threaded to fit the receiver, and I had Connecticut Precision Chambering do this work. This service cost $194.00. http://www.ct-precision.com/ruger10-22.html

The following parts are all made by KIDD. The bolt is stainless steel which sells for $110.00. The bolt handle, guide rod, and spring sell for $40.00. The bolt buffer sells for $6.00. The trigger is an entire single-stage unit with a long lever which sells for $273.50. The receiver pins are stainless steel which cost $7.00. The scope base is $38.50. https://www.coolguyguns.com/RIFLES_c_10.html

The stock is a Hogue OverMolded with a .920 barrel channel, which sells for $98.95.

The scope is a Leupold VX III 4.5 X 14 with an adjustable objective and Target Turrets. This sells for $400.00.

The scope rings are Leupold Mark 4, which sells for 4149.99. https://www.leupold.com/shop/mounts/series/mark-4?p=2

The scope covers are Butler Creek flip opens, which sell for $9.95. https://www.butlercreek.com/scope-co...ns/P00180.html

The sling is a GI cotton sling that sells for $15.00. After trying all kinds of slings, the GI cotton sling is the best. The sling swivels are Uncle Mike's 1-1/4" quick detachable locking, and they sell for $9.99. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/139833111610-22 (1).jpg

Nice looking rifle. Worth the price if it makes you happy.

              Well done. Congrats OP.

Curious . . . what scope is that?

Nice build...Im working on a new build with a Feddersen barrel as well. Using a KRG chassis and going to use a volquarten summit bolt action.

Very nice! I have a similar looking setup but with a heavy Green Mountain barrel and Volquartzen internals. The Hogue stock is one of my favorite 10/22 stocks. It’s comfortable and grippy and is a great all-purpose stock, especially in inclement weather.

Hope she’s a tack driver for you!

                    Great looking rifle.

Can't wait to hear how it shoots.

                    Have a safe trip!

Pointy pistol grip end...would not bang.

(Looks great, would love to shoot it! )

The scope is a Leupold VX III 4.5 X 14 with an adjustable objective and Target Turrets. The Leupold VX III 4.5 X 14 with an adjustable objective is my favorite scope. I have this same scope on two other rifles.

The only thing I would have done differently would be to have the barrel fluted to reduce front end heavy feel... I'm sure that's gonna be a fine rifle---be sure to let us know how she shoots!

You left out the extended mag release. Who makes that?

Please let us know how it shoots...

That's some big money to spend on a 22 caliber but then who cares, you buy and build what you want. Very very nice. I'd love to shoot one like it.

I really don't know anything about these guns. It's like building an AR (15 years ago) it's all after market stuff. You register the lower and go from there?

I'm going to have to look at these more. They seem like a hec of a lot of fun.

                              Thanks for sharing
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
