Other than the Super Speed Shorts those boxes look pretty good which imho means they'll probably shoot. Just eye them as you load up , may find some loosies.

The boxes will definitely be kept if I use the ammo. Used to come home from grade school to my Grandpa taking out the ground squirells from his bedroom window with this stuff.

I've got a boatload of .22lr going back to the 1970's and it works great. It has been stored in ammo cans on a cool concrete floor though with very little temperature variation over the years.

Since they are mostly shorts, you might find someone that would swap you for modern LR ammo, if that is what you prefer to use (I would if you were in my area).

I have some .22LR from the 1940's it shoots just fine, but I don't for nostalgia, as it was my grandfathers.

I'm sure they'll all shoot just fine.
I agree with others tho - shooting .22 short and CB is so much fun!

Those are dangerous to shoot. They should be properly disposed of.

i know a guy who can help you.

Or I could trade for current bulk LR. I don't have enough shorts.

That's why I like them. CBs in a bolt action are my go to for new shooters.

Also, my rolling block only fits shorts, too old for that new long rifle stuff

I was able to contribute some pictures of my dad's ammo boxes to that site. You can still view it on the wayback machine. Here is the last archived link to it for its CCI page. Yours looks like his CB-1 from 1971. Enjoy:
