They look nice but does anyone know where the MSRP on those is going to be? If I were to guess I'd say $700 - $900.

suppose to be around $500-$600 i think just like the rest of em. if i have to choose between the gsg and the sig id still get the gsg cause it looks better and thers the aftermarket for parts. if i had to choose between the colt and the gsg id have to think hard about it. both are great looking guns. the colt is probaby gonna be a better made gun and the aftermarket should be pretty good. id probably go with the colt if they were the same price

I say go for the GSG-5. It is proven to be a reliable plinker that happens to be very fun to shoot!

Just paid for my GSG-5 today. After the ten day wait I'll get to see if I made the right choice.

Here's mine. I picked it up 9 days ago. I finally shot it yesterday. I didn't want to take it out until I had all the bells and whistles attached. I got the scope pretty much dialed in. It was a blast. Alot of people were looking to check it out. I don't like that attention though, in the end it's only a .22. Now if I had a real MP5 I would understand why people were looking. The only problem is that will .22lr ammo so scarce I'm nervous about shooting too much and not being able to replace what I have.

That happened to me last time I went out. Put a box and a half through my Neos and good ol pump .22 and then went to Wally-World thinking I'll just pick up another box. A month and a half later I had to camp out there and even then had wrestle the last four boxes of Federal 325 rnds from an old dude and his 8 year old grandson. They put up a heck of a fight. In the end we split em. Good luck and nice looking gun.

I'm glad you are excited, but you might want to post a different picture (without that mag attached) because there isn't even plausible deniability (GSG-5s didn't exist prior to 2000)...

Did you buy it at River City? Looked at them today. Pretty nice gun, and they have them in stock and have kept the price at 550.

I was amazed how busy that place was at 2pm on a Wednesday.
