Do you guys think it is worth having both a mp15-22 and a wildcat? Instead of another 22 rifle, do you guys recommend stepping up to a bigger caliber. This is only for fun.

- S&W MP15-22 - Yes
- Win Wildcat - No, get Marlin 60, Ruger 10/22 or Henry level action.
(I had all 5 of them and that is my vote).
Just for fun, then stay with 22LR the ammo is cheaper you can shoot all day for $20, if you select the bigger caliber then it may cost you $60 for one hour shooting. But if money is no object and just for fun then get Ruger PPC 9mm , you can use Glock magazine on Ruger PPC 9mm. -
The 10/22 takedown is the best accessory for the PC Carbine.
The 10/22 takedown comes with a backpack which fits both the 10/22 and PC Carbine at the same time. In the main compartment here are two barrel pockets on one side, one receiver pocket on the other side and the PC Carbine receiver sat in the middle open area. I had to configure the PC Carbine as the shortest length of pull by taking out the two buttstock extensions to make it short enough to fit.
The front pockets are for two handguns. It's the complete bugout bag.Comment

The 10/22 is almost double the price as the Winchester and I don't have plans to bug out. I think it is either the Wildcat or just skip it alltogether. This is only another toy to the collection, just trying to see if I want to have the MP15-22 and the Wildcat or if I should just save the money for more ammoComment

I love 22 rifles. My favorite caliber. I've got every action (semiauto, bolt, lever, and pump) in multiple brands. Two semiauto rifles in different brands feel very different. The 10/22 is almost double the price as the Winchester and I don't have plans to bug out. I think it is either the Wildcat or just skip it alltogether. For example, the MP15-22 feels very different from a Marlin 795, because of different pistol grips. Marlin 795 is one of the least expensive. $180 regular price at Turners. $125 used in the Calguns marketplace.Comment

Yes, I bought the Wildcat and regret that I bought that.
Read my review post #36.
Updated: Two weeks ago, the rear peep sight just flew away at the range could not find it, called Winchester and Rep. said that they do not have parts for another 6 months. Now I have to shoot with red dot.
a joke: This rifle has more plastic than Nancy Pelosi has silicon on her body

I just read your review.
I would be so mad if my sight just flew off...that's too bad.Comment

Don't make your gun safe full !
I bought Henry 001, shoot it, appreciated it, and a year later I put it in the safe and never shoot it again because I bought Henry Golden Boy.
The Henry 001 rifle built so well, shoot so accurate, many good things with it, so I have to buy another one, very much the same just look better.
Save some dimes get the Golden Boy otherwise you will get it sooner or later.
