Just wondering how accurate these are.

Mine is dang accurate. I'm tagging beer cans at 30 yards with pretty awful 46 year old eyes. I probably shoot my single six convertible more than any other gun.

I have had several Ruger Single Six revolvers, and all of them were very accurate.

Do it! Mine has been a gem - quite accurate for open sites. Additionally, it allows for low velocity/quiet rounds that don’t often work in a semi auto.

It is far more accurate than I am.

I've got a single seven, and a single six convertible. I really want to grab a short barrel single ten, but, dang, they are pricey!

Going to bet that it's inherently accurate, but practical accuracy depends on how you like the sights and how you like the trigger.

And, how big your hands are and able to hold the grip

I liked mine but in the end, I was never comfortable holding it due in part to the size of my hands (I had to hold it in such a way where, the webbing between thumb and forefinger were under the hammer when cocked. That is, my palm was on top of the grip's "horn" and facing toward the ground.

As Ross mentioned above, the grips on a Ruger Single Six are not optimal for someone with big hands, but the revolver was modeled after the Colt SAA. I have big hands and just make due, and I am still accurate with it.

I have an older Ruger Single Six with a 9.5 inch barrel, and it is amazingly accurate. I couple of years back, we were shooting pumpkins at 200 yards at the Burro Canyon rifle range.

I won't disagree that the Wrangler is a good handgun, but you can buy a used Ruger Single Six for about the same price on gunbroker.com, you may have to wait for the right price to present itself, but they are available at the same price.

Between the two, the Ruger Single Six is the better revolver.

But, I got my Wrangler NIB for $180.
Doubt, the Single Six will ever get that low.
