Glock 44 (.22LR): Got one today! *Thoughts*

Thoughts on the Glock 44? I saw one last week. Super light. Too light actually. All the large components are made of polymer except the slide rail and barrel.

Maybe a good trainer for sight alignment, trigger press, or a starter for young shooters?

I have one and it's splendid! Feeds everything. Had a couple of old Rem Golden's that were weak and didn't send the slide back far enough. Ammo related.
So much fun too shoot and has a decent kick to it, being the slide is very light.
Fun range time. Likes HV ammo the best.

Ok, so there are a lot of mixed reactions to Glock's new 44. I figured I'd get one, run it through a battery of tests, and post some videos.

      Video 1: https://youtu.be/v0cEVAhgy2k

I plan on running 500 rounds through it tomorrow AM and film it (in case the slide breaks, like some have reported), or anything else noteworthy happens. Will also document the number of malfunctions / failures.

Another video will be running subsonics, then various ammo through a suppressor when the threaded barrel shows up.

What else would you like to see? Comment here or the video and I'll make it happen.

I'd like to see bullseye shooting with it. 7-10yds.

Yup would like to see the accuracy and dependability. Are you able to rapid fire where you're going?

Local Glock armorer got one, and the slide has cracked near the ejector within 100 rounds. As much as I would like to get one, I will be waiting until the bugs are worked out and they come out with a full-size grip like my G19X and G45.

Is the G44 somehow on the roster?

600 rounds and counting. ZERO issues. 100%. Tested with 4 brands of ammo. All 40gr though.

Would somebody compare G-44 and Ruger SR-22 (both off Roster).
