AR 22 trigger

^^^^^ well that explains why in my first AR22 build many years ago I had a problem with my DIY trigger job. I cut some of the hammer off and cut some of the trigger spring off to reduce that awful mil spec 8 lb. pull. Did get the pull weight down but it did not fire the 22 upper. Put in a RRA 2S trigger and been firing ever since. The cut parts reside in my museum of failed experiments.

Question though, if one puts in a one piece "drop in trigger" like a Wilson Combat (or others), as mentioned above, where there is no adjustment, what does one do?

I'm not saying that switching triggers IS going to cause a problem.
I'm only saying that IF it does, that you would know where the problem came from.
If putting in a trigger module caused problems, you could take the trigger module out and put in a different trigger system until you found one that worked reliably.

Without having the gun in my hand with both the old trigger system and the new trigger system to measure/compare, I cant say how I would go about fixing it.
