Colt Woodsman price

I have a friend who wants to sell a Colt Woodsman (serial number seems to place manufacture date at 1974). I want to give a fair price. I am attaching a picture. Any help that you can give us in determining a price will be appreciated.

I've seen them from time to time in similar condition for around $550-600 or so. They're nice pistols, my Dad had one.

That is a 3rd generation Woodsman. Go on gunbroker.com and do a search to see what they are bidding, and I would also suggest doing a search for auction that have ended.

Does he have the box? Does he have the stuff that goes in the box? How many magazines?

All of these will effect the price.

No, he doesn't have the box or anything other than the two magazines which came with the pistol and the Idaho Leather holster in the picture. The pistol is in excellent condition.
