            i have a simmons 4-12 that i got from walmart for like 35 bucs. Wroked well on my rem700 and it still wroks on my 10/22

              Just get a 4x bushnell from opticsplanet for 25$ or you could go all out and spend 45$ for the 3-9 version of said scope. Someone earlier said they wanted a 6-24. What the hell for? .22lr is good for about 100yds right ?

              Get the basic 4x. It works great and your kids won't know the difference. Just my .02

                i've looked at this before (actually before i noticed that i had so many responses in this thread!). i was actually on the verge of ordering it. i think i'm going to order it right now.... OH, BTW... i just picked up my bone stock 10/22 today. still haven't fired it. gonna wait untill tomorrow. gonna go watch the fight tonight! thanks for all the input guys! i'll let you guys know how it works out!!

                  It's a bit more than you want to spend, but I've also had good luck with the Nikon Prostaff 4x. It's something you can use for a long, long time.
