    Tube fed .22's

I'm kind of new here and don't really know if this is the place to ask, but what is the CA law regarding older tube fed bolt action or semi-auto .22's. Most of them hold way more than 10 rounds, so is it a problem buying one off an auction site and having it shipped here? I'm just looking to for a few older rifles to plink with.

Tube fed .22's are exempt from the ten round limit. Shouldn't be any issue at all.

You're ok with buying a tube fed 22. I have a old Marlin Glenfield 60 that holds 17 in the tube that I picked up from a local pawnshop. Which I might add is a great cheap way to find a simple old plinker.

My Henry .22 can hold 15 of .22 Long Rifle, 17 or .22 Long, and 21 of .22 Short.

Sure did. However, this thread was about tube fed .22's, not necessarly bolt action .22's. So there.

I bought my Winchester 9422 in 1973, my first gun with my own money. I still have it and love to shoot it. Holds 17 in the pipe and shoots really straight. Congrats on the bolt gun, it will last forever...here is a picture with his big brother.
