    Marlin 60ss

Here's my son's Marlin 60SS I got him last Xmas. This has the original 20" barrel I believe. Nice heavy barrel. Picked up a SS Papoose and a SS 10-22 from a couple of fellow Calguners as well.

Looking for a 39A or a octogonal barrel .22 next.

So heres the (more or less) finished product after some Krylon Camo paint. The scope and rings I had left over from a pile of *cough* Airsoft accessories. Cheapo Tasco pronghorn scope, dont know what kind of rings, and a wally world bipod. I might repaint the stock as it didnt come out as clean as I wanted, but hey...Total cost about $150 including the DROS

Picked up my old Model 60 from my brother last weekend, cleaned it, and attempted to shoot it yesterday. Don't know how many years since the gun has been fired, but possibly as much as 30 years. It would not chamber the round, either spitting it out or jamming inside. Brought it home, and asked a neighbor for advice. He suggested cleaning the gun better, especially the ramp. He has some cleaning fluid that he is going to bring to me to try. I will take a picture soon.

          Some sweet 60's on here.

This one's mine, I've never done anything to it. It was purchased this way from a friend of my dad's:

My first one was the old Glenfield model with the carved squirrel stock. Great gun.
