      I've got both a 60 and a 795.

The 60 is just so easy to load (especially with a Spee-D-Loader) that you won't want to futz with the 795's magazines unless you have to. It also holds 4 more rounds and doesn't have the magazine in the way.

People who say the 795 is easy to load - have not owned a 60.

I can grab mine at Turner's next Tuesday, my 795 RM on Friday and my Rough Rider the following Monday. Now all I need to complete my Rimfire Starter Kit is a Mark II.......

I was just about to leave to Big 5 at Daly City until I read this message. So, I called to make sure they still had some in stock. Luckily they did and I bought the last one that was on the shelf.

Maybe they'll have some more hiding around in the back, but call ahead.

              So excited! Can't wait.

And the savage is on sale but ten dollArs less than the marlin(I didn't se a scope). how does that compare to a ruger or marlin?
Marlin vs Ruger is like Savage vs Remington, both are great but remington's price difference is worth it due to aftermarket parts. That said, go for the ruger for the same reason.

Ya I think it was the one on display. It looked fine to me.

I was also about to buy the 3x9x32 scope at Big5for $50. I seen another scope at the Big 5 in San Leandro for $45. But I found one on amazon for even cheaper: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A5ZZHX3VH1XKGE

I can save about $10 bucks! It's got 4.5 stars on Amazon.

How much is a box of .22LR ammo at Walmart? I searched some forums, they were 15.99 2-3 years ago. Are they the same price?
Right now they got a sale online: Blazer 5000 rds for $160 free shipping. Which ends up being like $16 bucks a box. Good deal?

I haven't bought any from walmart in a while, but last I remember hearing I think it was $18 for a box of federal.

Yes Dunns is the best place to get Blazer from right now. I would shoot a brick of Blazer through your new rifle before you get a whole case of it. Im sure it will be very reliable and very accurate in your 795, but not two rifles are the same.

Wow, the thread that won't die. And for good reason, I love this rifle.

Anyone know who has the best price on magazines right now? Midway has them but they are almost $30 each.

There were magazines for 18$ at Big5
