Guy had extraction issues so people offered a lot of tips there's also some good photos of the position of the ejector. His wasnt slamming back like yours though.

They said that the Hammer spring may actually be stiffer so it may result in crisper trigger brakes.

I cut a coil on my original spring and I don't think it did much to lighten my trigger (my primer strikes are still clean and hard so no negative there). I asked if people cut these ones and kinda got chastised for asking lol

And another way is to get a DIP adjustable trigger, unfortunately they are out of stock every time I have the cash to buy one

OMG, after seeing the picture, i checked mine, and I'm having the same exact issue.
The charging handle is damaging the ejection port at the same spot and in the same way.
But I don't have any problems with the gun though. I get maybe 3 FTEs out of an entire box of federal bulk. Mine is an MM serial number as well.

From that pic, I can also say that this is not normal at all. I've got way more rounds through mine and it doesn't even look close to that. You might contact Marlin and send them that pic to see what they say. Its possible there are some issues after the change in plant where these are produced.

Yes, just i have the same damage as you did.

There's some comfort in not being the only guy w/ this problem....we'll just have to figure it out. Whenever the springs arrive I'll be sure to pass whatever I learn on.

You're a new owner like myself, so I suspect that there's an issue w/ the mm models.

That doesn't look good, that's not normal at all. I shoot Blazer bulk pack out of mine all day long and not one malfunction so far in apx 2k rounds and and no sign of the damage like yours.

I haven't used them but they are on my list of things to get. Lots of people love them at Rimfire Central.

I shot mine recently and started having the same issue, ive only shoot 1k rounds out of it.
