Just received 5k of .22 standard velocity rounds from the CMP. Ordered about 3 months ago. Price worked out to about $20/500, not a deal but at least I got some more ammo. I forgot I had ordered them until my wife called me at work to tell me a heavy box had arrived via FedEx.

Wow, Fed 550 packs were just $14 something just a couple of months ago.

Dunns has okay prices but the shipping just kills it for a case.

Huntington Beach WM had two dozen boxes of Federal 375 bulks. I picked up 6 and will put them up on the "ammo sale" board (at my cost as always). I've tried posting here in the past hoping to pass on some .22lr to you guys but since I've not had much luck here I figured I'll try at ammo board.

If you have time go pick them up at WM or reply me back on the ammo board.
    Thanks

What makes me angry, is how people are offering plenty of .22 ammo for sale, through this site, at almost double the price in the stores. I know it's convenience, but not at almost 2:1 prices!

OK, I found 6 more boxes of Federal bulk packs at the local WM last night and I'm offering them up for sale to offset the scalping that's been going on. I'm not doing this to make money or win favors, just trying to help out the local plinkers.

They are Federal 375rd packs and I paid $11.47 + tax (8.75%) so $12.47 each. Maximum of two packs per person. Exact change in cash please.

One catch, to discourage re-selling of these ammo I'll open the box at the time of sale and tearing off the box top.

PM me and you can pick it up at my work (Costa Mesa) between 6am-3pm M/F or at home (Mission Viejo) 5pm-9pm. Sorry no shipping.

    Thanks
    Richard S.

Ammo Bros sells 500rds of Blazer .22lr at $21.99 which is not too bad for a non Walmart retailer. I think it was $20 earlier this year though.

For those of you on the central coast 831 area, Hunter's Supply in Salinas has had ALOT of ammo both times ive been there in July. Just bought a 525 brick of blazers for $22 the other day (also saw cci minimags, remington subsonics, american eagles, and some federal).

Also, Hunter's Supply is celebrating 1 year on Saturday with free gun raffles and a free bbq!

    3. Steel cased. Is it rusty? Varnished?
    4. It's selling at 4 cents per round. That's expensive.

I can buy brand new US made brass-cased .22 all day for 3 to 3.8 cents per round. Why would I want completely unknown old Russian steel-cased for more?
I recently bought some of this brass cased Russian stuff at $15 per 500rds. It's greasy and somewhat dirty but serviceable. I have a single 50rd box of the steel case for collection purposes. I shot 50-100 rounds of it many years ago.
