I've noticed this as well. And yasushi, I'd take some more ammo from you but to be fair I have enough for now and I'm semi broke, lol.

Just to let you all know, I have done the same thing yasushi is doing on a local basis with friends, family, ect. Buying up all the Walmart ammo in certain calibers and reselling it at cost to be sure more people have something to shoot and to prevent gougers from making a profit.

I live near Loomis, but that doesn't seem like a very good deal.

    1. It's old. Manufactured in 1994.
    2. It's unknown Russian. Who knows what quality and how dirty.
    3. Steel cased. Is it rusty? Varnished?
    4. It's selling at 4 cents per round. That's expensive.

I can buy brand new US made brass-cased .22 all day for 3 to 3.8 cents per round. Why would I want completely unknown old Russian steel-cased for more?

I was a bad, make that very bad boy today and bought 12 boxes of 22 at WW today, 8 boxes of winchester xpert-HV (500), and 4 boxes of federal target grade (325), but then I do shoot it and don't resell it for profit.

    I wish I lived closer.

i go there tuesday and thursday mornings at 8am. thats more trips than i can handle to walmart especially since there isnt one in my town. i also dont want to be a pain in the arse to call them on the phone all the time cus i know they hate it. i try to make my trip do double duty by picking up some household items since i have to drive so far out of the way.

I'm more of a casual shooter, so I'm not really educated on gun politics... but can someone explain to me why every store I went to had plenty of 12 ga, 7.62, 30-06, 7mm, .223, .40 S&W, 9mm, .357.... etc, but no where had any .22LR?
9mm and .357 have been hard to find because people are stocking up on handgun ammo. .22lr is selling like crazy because it's so much cheaper to shoot.

The rest of the calibers aren't as popular.

It's been a day and still no firm takers on my offer...

My offer per post "345" is still in effect if anyone in O.C. area is interested.
Should I post this up on the "For Sale" thread? I was hoping to keep this just in the Rimfire section.
If I was in the area, I'd take you up on the offer.
