      I agree. I have a CZ 455 Trainer.

I have the Ruger RPR and I love it. It easily shoots touching groups at 25yrds. Plus it is nice to share mags with 10/22.

What 22 ammo is everyone using? I have thousands of rounds of cci mini mag. I heard cci standard velocity is good too. I did not want to spend double for match grade ammo.

I use CCI standard LRN in m th son's bolt. 22. I could spend more, but then I'm in .17 HMR prices and I'll shoot that out to 200 meters.

Same here NAVYDAD, some of the older rifles are just as accurate as todays
pricey rifles. It don't get out much, but mine is great too.

Again, this right here^^^. This would be a superb set-up for the price.
Unless of course, more coin must be spent for a "match" type rifle.

I wonder why I haven't heard of more reviews on the RPR. Especially reviews about it's accuracy and precision. I'd have picked one up already, but can't find any good reviews yet.

At that distance I think just about any quality 22 with a semi decent piece of glass will do what your asking. My old Marlin 795 SA with a cheap Simmons 3x9 will put a 10 round mag worth of 22 in a quarter size group. My buddy has a Ruger American with a decent Vortex 12 power that is pretty impressive, it’s a 22 wmr with a 18” barrel. If I got a 22 bolt gun that’s what I’d get.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

for real bolt action rimfire fun i like a scoped marlin 17hmr over a 22lr/wmr. very zippy and long range accurate, plus there was always 17hmr ammo on the shelves during the great drought.

I know it's rimfire, but I don't think 25 yard groups tell you much about a rifle. It's probably a good distance to start if you're zeroing a new scope, but as far as a rifle's performance, I'm not sure.

I zero my CZ 455 22LR at 50 yards and I've had 5 shot groups where it was basically 1 hole, but that unfortunately doesn't mean it's sub-MOA at 100 yards because I actually shoot it at 100 yards and it tends to open up.

It's like people who post 25 yard groups for their Mini 14's and extrapolate it's going to shoot 2 MOA @ 100 yards. Doesn't work that way.

I have a ruger 10/22 and ruger rpr in 556 so I was looking at a Ruger 22 rpr. Didn't want to spend more than $600. Wanted to shoot something indoor and that really accurate. What else should I be looking at?
