Humor me this: muzzle device suggestion for 17HMR?

New 17hmr upper just came in and it just looks naked with the thread protector on there. Open to everything from practical to tacticool. Any suggestions?

I'd think any 1/2x28 FH/brake would work, though probably more for appearance than function since it's a 17 HMR.

And let me know how the upper works out. I've been thinking of getting one.

Since recoil is not an issue, you may look at KVP Linear Comps, they redirect sound forward and look cool. I have Slim XL on my Ruger PC in 9mm.

if it's just for looks, get one of those big *** arrow-head shaped comps off a Barrett .50? :-)

I just had the generic birdcage on my CMMG, but had a Troy Brake - (Medieval maybe?) that I removed to do something compliant on a centerfire so I timed it on there because it was the only different looking one in a pile of birdcage hiders.
