Thanks! I don't believe there are any other companies that make a take down receiver yet, so I'd definitely be interested in one.Originally posted by IshootforbloodIn the question & answer section, the Brownell's Tech mentions that the takedown receivers will be along shortly.
The model with a machined scope rail is $10.00 more than a standard model. I like the idea of a scope rail built into the receiver. For someone that plans to replace almost every part on their 10-22, this might be an option to consider.Comment

Wow! That's nice!
I don't care for the cut out in the back....but I can live with it.
I am thinking of building a fancy...nice shooting 10/22. But I did not want to waist money on a whole 10/22.
Take care

That's a pretty sweet deal. That price is less than what most 80% receivers run.
I've been thinking about building a 10/22 from a striped receiver but I have no idea what parts I would need.
Here's what I know I'll need:
Receiver
Barrel
Trigger assembly
Stock
What am I missing?

You've got the big parts... just need the little things like bolt assembly, charging handle, pins, V-block, magazines, and takedown screw. And of course optics. That's a pretty sweet deal. That price is less than what most 80% receivers run.

You can get the MOA receivers for under $200 and they are made out of stainless but more importantly they are threaded.Lynn Dragoman, Jr.

Anyone can recommend an unfinished stock to go with these? Want to dye/stain one for the little one.
