    Browning Buckmark UDX (first semi-automatic)

    Hi,

For my first semi-automatic (I've only used revolvers) I was thinking about getting the Browning Buckmark UDX. It's a 22lr gun, and I'll be using it at the range exclusively for practice.

    Any thoughts/opinions on this model?

    Appreciate the advice!

Buy it I have a Buckmark best 22lr IMO. There really is nothing you can say bad about a UDX buckmark, I got the cheaper version and should have bought the UDX I like the grips better. I added a fiber optic sight and that's it. Got bored of it(not a huge 22lr fan) but I have brought out new shooters with it and they do great.

Try the Buckmark UDX Micro slab side w/4" barrel. They are pretty hard to find. I bought one and then won another several months ago. I'm keeping the one I'm shooting. They are accurate and a blast to shoot. I've probably got 1000 rounds fired and no jams using 3-4 different types of ammo.

Wood laminate version , nice shooter. Used to have a base model Camper as well but moved it for some other stuff.

You will love the UDX! Super smooth & accurate! Mine shoots everything I feed it, and never fails!

Go for it, you will not be disappointed in the Buckmark. Also add to your shopping list a bore snake, extra magazines and a McFadden Ultimate Loader.

I am another fan of the UDX, it fits my hand better. The only drawback is no aftermarket grips.
The odd things on buckmarks, the stainless version has the full serrations and the blue one has the partial serrations, Only matters if you are getting a Halo pull ring and the stainless version uses a 7/64 hex key while the blue one uses a torx for the barrel retaining screw

Buckmarks are good guns! Go handle some and get the most comfortable one.

I really like mine as well and thought ordering a UDX instead of the off the shelf LGS version was worth it.

If you can find one, buy the UDX 4" barrel slab side. Accurate and a lot of fun to shoot.
