I was just wondering if any of the users have had a problem with the Colt JR ? I have one that was made in 1960, (Spanish made for Colt). I took it to the range after many years and yes I due clean and properly lubricate the firearms. The firing pin would not fire the round. I had a bear of a time getting the firing pin assembly out. I checked for crud , none found, reassemble took it to the range. The darn thing fire just fine. I was never a Colt fan so back in the safe and out with the SM target master. Thanks for looking, Jim

Owners Manual:
Same as the Astra Cub. The Cub manual has detail instructions for complete disassembly, but I can't remember where I found it. The 2000 is close enough though.
If the firing pin spring gets kinked or deformed, it'll lock the firing pin back far enough to stop it from contacting the round. Powder residue, or lead shaving in there will do the same. -
Thanks for the info TRAPP55, I have a few friend that are smiths, and your right we thought a bent firing pin, fouled material around the spring and pin. We never found anything that would cause the problem. I just don't trust the weapon, so back in the safe. Thanks again Jim,Comment

Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
