The Mini-Mags have more flyers than the AR Tacticals
A number of side-by-side comparisons, prove this.
They are not the same product just relabeled.

If you are thinking an AR style .22, stock up on the CCI AR Tactical ... like NOW.

Some rifles shoot other loads better, more dependbly, and more accuratley, but the AR "tacticals" are a load I can throw in any gun I own and be sure it wil go pop, and hit what I'm aiming at with no jams or misfires. That covers bolt actions, semi autos, and lever actions in detachable or tube magazines. the minimags velocity is advertised at 1240 fps on the box, and the AR tacticals have 1200 fps printed on the box.
Great reviews - Many Thanks to you both! Where's Mr. Rabbit?

I am another proponent of the CCI AR Tac. They feed very consistently in my various 10/22s.

Their grouping is decent for non-subsonic rounds. And I can hit pretty consistently 2 MOA targets at 100yards with them. In fact, my 12 yo daughter was hitting 9/10 the 2MOA steel swinging targets with AR TAC and my 10/22 as 100y.

Groups at 50 yards are about MOA, so not too shabby there with a 10/22.

The 1911-22 here at my desk is loaded with 36gr Mini-Mags.

+1 on that. I bought quite a few of the CCI "AR Tactical" rounds and found they shoot well and very reliably in my 10/22s; slightly better than CCI Mini-Mags.
