    The HS Victor is a great pistol. Nothing wrong with a 41 either. The 41 will
    be a lot easier to find,though.

      I used to shoot my Victor in Bullseye matches 20 years ago. I think mine is a Hartford. The magazines are very ammo sensitive and needed to be tuned. For matches I would shoot Wolf Match Target. For practice, Aguila SE. I tried just about every standard velocity I could find.

      My friend sold me the Victor when he picked up a Model 41. I retired the Victor when I started shooting a Marvel conversion on a dedicated 1911 frame. The Marvel outshoots any pistol I own with the proper ammo. Same grip and trigger feel as my .45 1911 bullseye gun.
