    Big 5 mailer. $90 brick.

Just got the weekly Big 5 ad in the mail. They are having a "sale" on .22.

A brick of 500 for $90. Regularly $99.99. A brand called Prime. Never heard of it.

I think Big 5 is the worst place to buy ammo I know of.

Anyone else remember when you could get a brick of 22lr for under $20? Wtf happened to .22? I bought 22 cal guns because ammo was stupid cheap and it's fun to shoot. Now it's almost cheaper to plink with my 45 or 270 Win.

Just 12 years ago my local shop was blowing out CCI Blazer bricks for $6.99. I picked up a few, but man do I wish I'd really stocked up now.

These ammo manufacturers are biting the hand that feeds them. Freaking morons you'd think they have their crap together by now.

sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

I've never heard of this Prime either until I saw it on sale one day, I did check out the box onetime and from what I remember it says its some sort of German or other European manufacture "match grade" ammo. For what they want for that you could get the equivalent in 50 round boxes of Aguila for less money.

I remember seeing their plain jane 9mm FMJ ammo going for around $30 just for a 50 round box.

$90 a brick..lmao... The Outdoor Sportsman had a whole bunch of 22lr last time I was in there. All different manufacturers.... Most at ten cents a round.... Not the best deal but if you don't have any and need it, it's not bad
