    CCI Blazer....still being made???

I used to buy the 525 and then the 500 bricks of this stuff. It was known as CCI's "cheap" stuff, and was priced competitively with Federal's bricks, but the Blazer had a bit more "oomph", and functioned all of my semi-autos reliably.....unlike Federal and Winchester. I haven't seen any Blazer bricks for sale anywhere for a loooooong time. Anybody found any, lately?

I scored 5 bricks of it last year at Big 5... at Big 5 prices...

Haven't actually been in Big 5 looking for ammo since I found a source of Aquila online...

CCI Blazer is all I used to shoot though my marlin 60 when I was younger. I loved that stuff. I have some boxes from big-5 with the sale price of $1.09 for a box of 50

I don't know if you used it or not, before CCI Blaze became the "cheap" stuff, Big 5 had the Remington Peters stuff that came in little 50 round paper box that just had the rounds packed in without any plastic holder. I think as recently as the early to mid 2000s I used to get them on sale for ~79 cents per 50 and thought that was expensive...for the longest time the plinking 22LR were actually CHEAPER than quality .177 air pellets.

No clue, I haven't seem them in stores in recent decades but others would know more, did you see them for sale in retail stores in the last, say, 20-30 years?

I have a container of those with 36 left, No box. My Dad used to give them to me back in like 89-91. But when I was about 14 I would buy the CCI Blazers on my own at Big-5. That was around 1990-91.

They could be worth something. People seem to pay good money for the vintage stuff..

You bought 22 rounds at 14 on your own? How did youths survive those savage years.
