    10/22 BX Trigger

I know, Ruger should just include this in the rifle.

But they don't. I've read good things about it and wanted to share.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The way I acquired all my BX triggers was through ebay. I contacted the seller before time and kindly asked him to measure the trigger pull on his BX's and to send me the lightest ones. I now have (among several) two 10/22's with a 2.0# and a 2.1# trigger pull.

Definitely an improvement over the stock trigger. Both my kids rifles sport them. I have a Kidd in mine but I'm not quite so sure that spending all that extra money makes a huge difference.

I too got my Bx's on eBay - 63 bucks right now all in.

I checked out a few Bx's at Cabelas, wasn't impressed at all and actually disappointed.

I've read several good reviews of these triggers, but after testing several at Cabelas I gotta say they ehh.

Yes, they have a lighter break then stock, but the take up is a deal breaker for me.

Over at Rim Fire Central, trigger tweaker extraordinaire Brimstone reported that the BX is even easier to get a great trigger on than the old style. Seems the change in internals was a step in the right direction.

I have 3 10/22 and I sent all three triggers to Brimstone for his tier 3 triggers jobs... All three came back at 2.25 lbs. clean crisp breaks. Included is the bolt hold mod. For $38 it can't be beat!

So Brimstone modifies a stock trigger to a 2.25 lbs pull for $38

Yes, check out their site and he has videos on his different levels of stock trigger mods... Tier 3, tier 2, tier 1...

And a 100% money back guarantee... Will it be as nice as a $200-300 Kidd??? Of course not... but way better than the BX

I put a BX on mine. Great improvement over the stock trigger, but actually, its too light of a pull for me. I haven't measured it but I'm thinking its 2# or less.

I just installed a BX trigger in my Takedown 10/22.
                              The difference is quite dramatic.

Got it last week on sale for under $50.

Just what I wanted for my recreational purposes.

No doubt the Kidd, VQ and others are well suited for competition shooters and demanding plinkers, but my BX has quite a light trigger pull that is heaps better than the original.
