    Nylon Apache 77

On one of my gun hunting days I went to 3 different pawn shops. At the third shop I saw what appared to be a new Remington Nylon rifle. I asked the guy behind the counter if I could take a look at the plastic rifle.
He handed it to me and said that they had just put it out and had the box for it.
Well what I had in my hand was a like new Nylon Apache 77. When I looked at the price my hart skipped a beat. I put my best porked face on and kept shooting the bull with the guy.
I then asked if he could work on the price and he said that he would check with the Mgr.
He comes back with a price and I told him that I would take it then kept looking at guns with my friend that was with me. After a little bit I went to the front counter and filled out the paper work and paid for the rifle. I shot the bull a little more then left the store with rifle and box in hand. As we drove off we both laughed so hard at the deal I had gotten.
Oh! I almost for got to tell you what the price on the tag was. It was marked $159 and I got it for $150 out the door. That was like getting the gun for $136.99.
    Well here are the pics.

Wow.....you have balls of steel. If it was already a good price I would have snatched it up. You had the balls to keep haggling LOL.
Bravo sir, and a fine rifle!

The magazine fed version of the Nylon 66---never really caught on, but a fine little rifle at a steal price---there are probably several Nylon 66 collectors out there who would give their left nut for that thing at a much higher price...

Get a separate safe for the magazine.

My Nylon 66 was my favorite rifle until it was stolen in 1979.

                You scored. I'm jelly.

Never seen one of those before. I did just hold the Philippines nylon copy rifle though.

Nice one! I also own a Nylon.

This rifle is older than I am, works flawlessly, and sure is a lot of fun. It's been in the family for a couple generations now and hope to keep it going.

I think you probably mean the CBC Brazil clone I am not aware of a Philippine version. Gunny, isn't that a dark green K-Mart version? I occasionally come across them but not in the box. I don't think magazines for any Remington Nylon are very expensive that I remember.

I used to kind of collect Nylons I only have a few now. I'd love to have a 22 Short Gallery Special version.

Yes it is the K-Mart version. It was only made for two years. I don't remember the years.

This is a very elusive gun with a "Clip Magazine"

Says so, right on the box.

                            Nice score !

And,...the pawn shop made money on selling it for $150. It would be interesting to know, what they paid for it.
