77 mags
Bought my 77 in about 1973. Always thought it was a great gun. 40 years later with one rusted mag and one with a split case I bought 4 new mags from two different suppliers, they need mods to keep them in the gun.
That's if your lucky enough to keep the ammo in between loading and putting the mag in the gun. All four new mags spit the ammo out before they got close to the gun. I glued my old mag back together and it works fine. Wonder what foreign country is making the new Remington mags. Keep the old mags in the safe, you can't find new ones that will work like usa nylon 77 mags made in USA.Comment

did you at least kiss him first??
That is one heck of a deal on that 77. The Nylon series guns are going absolutely crazy in terms of collectors value now.
I just saw an Apache Black 66 at a show with a price tag of $975, and it wasn't even in that great of condition.
With all the rules changing in CA, I may have to make my Apache 66 one of my priorities for exfiltration to here next time I'm behind the lines there. I can only carry so many in checked baggage."Mr. Rat, I have a writ here that says you are to stop eating Chen Lee's cornmeal forthwith. Now, It's a rat writ, writ for a rat, and this is lawful service of same!"Comment
