    Scope for 10/22?

Gonna throw a Kidd barrel into a Titan stock not sure what trigger I'm going to go with yet.

With that said what optics are most of ya goin with magnification range wise? Was looking at a vortex 4-16 but is that much mag overkill? I do not plan on doing any matches or anything like that jus wanna out shoot some of my buddies.

Parallax pretty important for shorter range shooting of the 22 I assume?

Take a look at the 2-7 or 3-9x40 scopes

I've been happy with my Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 AO. I also have The Nikon 4-12x40 with the BDC reticle. I don't care for that one so much. I shoot out to 100yds. with them.

I've got a prostaff rimfire 4-12 and Hawke optic 3-9 on my 2 10/22's. I like both of then since they have their respective bdc reticles. I primarily use both rifles for shooting squirrels and various ranges.

.22lr bullet holes are hard to see at 100... Young eyes a 3-9x is plenty. Not so young maybe not.

Tech Sights or Williams target sights. I have bad eyes but nice aperture sights are fun to shoot.

Save the money from the barrel and go do an Appleseed shoot.

I'm tiring of 10/22's, the rifle you have to replace 1/2 of to make them shoot good... I'll not get another... I'll keep my Bicentennial one though.

Running a BSA Sweet 22 on my Marlin, shouldn't have any problems on a 10/22. Recommend it to everyone wanting a scope for any 22.

I have a Simmons 22 WMR scope with AO 3-9x32, pretty nice for hitting shotgun shell hulls

picked up a zeiss conquest 3-9x40 years ago at turners and love it on my 10/22. its what my kids are learning on. kinda pisses me off that a $400 scope has almost as good glass as my leupold mark 4s.

My brother put one on his Savage 22lr bolt action; it is a nice scope!

I have a Vortex 2x7 and wish for more sometimes, I would get a Diamondback hp 3x12 with side parallax. 299 at amazon.

use the kid trigger and a 4-14 or 4-22 scope. you will want more glass on that little tack driver
