I have the same wear, shouldnt be anything to really worry about I guess. The mags are so snug in there, maybe the missing paint with help smooth things out.

Hk, 25 meters, open sights, CCI "AR tactical" bullets @1200 fps.

Note: the one shot that's lower was from my wife shooting earlier. Almost one holed it!!!

Gsg, Bushnell AR red dot mounted to factory plastic rail, (so far no issues holding zero, but I did add a very small dab of lock tight on the screws), same CCI ar tactical .22 rounds, 25 meters, shooting pretty fast too.

Love these damn things! Some guys saw me shooting mine and ran over to the counter to rent the gsg 522 SD on the wall.

The gsg picture only has nine rounds, I had one CCI with a bad primer, shot about 80 rounds through the hk, about 180 rounds through the gsg (wife loved the adjustable stock on the gsg!)

No pics, but I went to SLOSA yesterday. Called in sick (from work) didn't said what's in the parentheses btw

Anyways, dialed the scope on the mp5 & just started plinking @ the 100 yard steel plate. That pop then plink a few seconds later was very satisfying.

This could be a start of a war between my RC tanks & firearms

GSG is no longer making the MP5.
I am pretty sure Walther is continuing with their models.

I'm taking my little mp5s out this weekend for more fun! Still waiting on more parts, been investing into my 1022 to compete with the these guys. Budget maximum for the 1022 is what I spent on the hk new ($488).

The 1022 was 125 OTD from my local pawn shop, bull barrel was 100, adapter for the barrel is 40. And the chassis from PmACA is 120. The butt stock is going to be an ergo pro stock that's coming off my shotgun and the scope is a mil dot 24x unit I've had stashed away from some time now. I'll probably need to fine tune it as I'll only be running subsonic ammo.

Should make the this little competition interesting.

ALSO, I'll be milling the stock on the HK to make five points for the stock to lock at! Imo, this is the only big set back of the entire gun!

                    Tbc!!

Its the one on the pic I posted earlier. All I want to hear was the rounds hitting the plate. Consistency was my objective that day. Accuracy maybe one of these days

I don't want to spend anymore on my plinker other than the rail & scope. Two magazines is enough, it controls my urge to dump rounds

I hope to dial mine in tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have some success, as others mentioned, they had issues getting the point of aim to be the poi.

Mag clamps making dueling trees that much funner!

Especially when dueling some badass 70 year old man with his full blown Volquartsen 1022 and his preban mags.
Needless to say he won (Fookn barely!), but my red dot only has 2x magnification while he was running a 3x to 9x on his.

Lots of **** talkin and plain Ole good times!

Wow, you were multi tasking with 3 rifles! I need to familiarize myself too with my pistol. Just that the .22 is so much fun and cheaper.

Now I want to call in "sick" again

BTW the scope on mine is a 3x prismatic
