    I'd be doing good to hit the box of shotgun shells (or empty 1/5th of Glenlivet) with a 22 @ 100 yds. I'll never be that good of a marksman.

    That being said I do enjoy hitting rams @ 485 meters prone or the High Power 10 ring with irons offhand @ 200 yds with a Garand.

    You see I know my "limitations" and I'd have to get very close to hit a nail.

    and as a fair number of very good paintballers have found out even this ancient guy knows how to get very close without them knowing

      The precision of the windage and hieght clicks is also very important. That is where I find the real failing of the less expensive scopes. I can see the target always with my "cheap" scopes (I have a lot cuz I am cheap and poor and stupid, etc.) but miniscule adjustments just don't always make it as the scope price goes down.
