Right, that's the combo I'm talking about. And yes, it can be replaced, my point was that it shouldn't need to be and the part they came up with sucks.

x2, love mine. Kasey did a great job coming up with this bipod.

I hate notched legs. You end up still needing a swivel top and honestly, I've never found an occasion that I could usefully use them. With my thumbscrew leg units I've been in position to use the legs in partially extended form exactly twice. What I find is that I'm using the bipod fully extended basically all the time unless it's folded away.

That new bigwheel dealie is kinda neat. I'd rather have something like that than the pod-lok I use now but the thing they use looks plastic and I'd want aluminum at a minimum. I hate that handle sticking out though and the wheel is a better idea.

I have the Versa Pod. I can detach the bipod and still have a hand stop on my rails. I have extra adapters on my other rifles so my bipod can switch.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm stuck on Harris though. I went to order it last night and got confused. Does anyone know the product # or manufacturers # to the S-BRM? Some of the pictures on amazon dont look like it. My concern is I get one that swivels, and tilts sideways,w/ nothed legs 6-9. Any other suggestions on who has it or where would be appreciated. i SEE CHEAPER THAN DIRT HAS IT, BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD TO AVOID THEM. thanks

As far as I know the "S" in BRM-S stands for swivel, so if you get that model you should be gtg. I bought mine on Amazon and put "harris bipod brm-s" in the search. That got me to the correct one.

And yes, Cheaper Than Dirt sucks. They are not true 2A advocates.
