Took some pictures of my BSA 1-6X24 for another thread, figured I'd post them here as they are relevant to the discussion.

Here's how I have mine set up on an SPR inspired build. Using a UTG QD mount, the total cost for optic and mount comes to just under $200.00. It's an extremely budget minded setup:

Interestingly, due to it's long eye relief and true 1X magnification it can also do this:

Take a look at the Leupold Mark AR line of scopes they are a great option and in the price point your looking for. Also check with Scott @ Libertyoptics for great pricing and customer service.

        Scope for SPR

Here is the 1-6xACSS but it will be out of stock soon.

Reasons shots are missed further out in sniper comps and actual operations.

        #1 wrong range estimation
        #2 wind
        #3 improper lead

Do the other scopes your looking at cover these critical factors?

My buddy is running a Nikon 3-9x m223 with BDC and we've been using it on his SPR. It gets excellent hits out to 600.

Plus Nikon Spot-On ballistics app lets you tailor the reticle to most popular commercial ammunition.

Nikon makes a few scopes that fit the OP's budget and purpose. Their glass and coatings are pretty damn good at this price point.

Yeah so how do you range with that reticle?
              You dont...

How about wind? You dial in say 5 moa left and then the wind shifts the other way, then what? You have to start all over. Ok for paper but far from ideal for SPR DMR work.
